Caucus of Development NGO Networks (CODE-NGO), with its 6 national networks and 6 regional networks, representing more than 2,000 development NGOs, people's organizations and cooperatives nationwide, is the country's biggest coalition of NGOs working for social development.
The Coalition for a Citizens' Constitution (C4CC) issued a warning, calling for vigilance among its members and partners regarding the continuous possibility of opening up amendments to the Constitution before the 2010 elections.

“PDAF is less than half of the pork barrel funds of legislators, and much of these funds are kept away from public scrutiny”, Sixto Donato C. Various newspapers have reported today the big increase in the Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF) or the pork barrel funds of legislators in the newly approved 2009 government budget.
